When Lambs Becomes Lions
This story contains the interwoven life scenarios of unusual people living in treacherous times. They are a peculiar people with no commitment to the world but with devotion to an instinctive urge binding them to a quest they do not, at first, understand and cannot even explain. Their commitment to this quest calls down the blessings of heaven upon them. It delivers them from their enemies, provides their needs in the face of horrendous opposition, and sends shepherds to point the way.

These people are not immune to hardship and pain. They suffer through their times along with everyone else, but they do it with an inherent faith that cannot be defeated, and with access to spiritual gifts. Hardships have taught them to endure and accept whatever grace might extend to them--rest, refreshment, a hand offered in love. They know what love is, they never play games with this divine gift. The Holy Spirit assists them in taking down the walls and barbed wire barriers of human relationships.

When the Holy Spirit speaks to their minds, they respond instinctively, often without thinking about it. This is more effective in shaping their lives than all the reasoning and pressure the world can inflict upon them.

People like this really do exist in this world, and they will be gathered one from a family and two from a community, from the north and south, from the east and west. God will gather them as a hen gathereth her chicks for they are his holy remnant so prominently identified by Isaiah.
