Escape The Dark
When, at last, we realize and acknowledge the pervasive failure of leaning on the "arm of flesh" (to which the degenerate condition of our world bears profound witness) we begin a quest, a search for spiritual support, for grace, love, faith, and revelation. Until we find that support, we suffer through a great deal of painful trial and error. If, however, we are determined and willing to endure the uncertainty, the vulnerability and the apparent contradictions of the quest, we will ultimately acquire full unhindered access to reliable spiritual guidance. This achievement enables what could be called "arm of God self reliance" which is infinitely more competent than "arm of flesh self-reliance". This is the Christian challenge to all humanity.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Prov 3:5-6).

Living by the Spirit does not in any way relieve one of the need to use their brain, to think things through and to make decisions. It simply provides us access to truth on which we can then safely base our intellectual processes and decisions.

There is a tide in human affairs, a tide that sweeps us all forward in time. It is a tide of mixed currents, both atheistic and Godly. We can deliberately choose one or the other of the two options, or by default, we can choose to simply allow ourselves to be swept along by whatever currents come along, like waves of the sea. But every one of us will be affected by the choices we make.

This symbolic story depicts and contrasts choosing the option of the arm of God vs. the arm of flesh. "Escape The Dark" portrays the quest which will eventually bring us through repentance to our baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost wherein we are sanctified and born of the Spirit. Spiritual death is conquered, spiritual awareness is restored with access to the "truth of all things".
